Sidewalks, cookies, misunderstandings
Just a roundup of a few drawings I posted in Notes over the past week or so. Still having fun drawing Lulu and this little guy (don’t really want to give it a name so am just calling it “little guy” for the time being). These drawings are all basically a revisit of things I love to draw, namely: cafes, city street scenes, trees.
What can I say, I think this little guy is just such a cutie :) Until next time!
I think don’t think that the adult characters look depressed. To me the look calm and focused. Have you ever noticed that when people listen very attentively, they have a facial expression that makes them look angry? It's a pity that, in a media environment where smiling has become somewhat endemic, some normal expressions can be interpreted as unfriendly.
Love this world you’ve created, Anne. It’s very inviting, yet calming/peaceful as well. 😊
