Rooftops and other little drawings

Better late than never!

I am back from a couple weeks of travel in Japan, between the jetlag and working on other projects I haven’t had much time for many drawings, but here are some rooftops.

I started getting set up to add color (watercolor no less!) but realized straight away that if I started in on color this post would probably not happen for many days more.

But here are a few other little drawings I’ve posted in Notes over the past few weeks as well.

And finally, here are a few photos I took of some little stone figures at a temple on Mt. Misen in Miyajima. These are such great characters, what do you think? The photo of the last little guy is actually from almost a decade ago, I went back into my archive to find it, I took it the first time I visited Miyajima in 2016 and hiked up Mt. Misen (this time we took the ropeway up due to traveling with a 4-year-old). Always nice to return.

A good trip, but also glad to be back and get back to it!
