This modest number of panels is actually the longest comic I’ve drawn in over five years. And I got the feeling I always get (and always forget) whenever I work on lengthier comics which is - “why do I do this?” Comics can be so labor intensive and such a hassle, all the planning and framing and panels and so many drawings! But of course comics provides its own special form of storytelling. And it can be a fun challenge, balancing the captions/speech bubbles/images, making sure they all contribute something separate, nothing redundant. So overall I enjoyed dipping my toe back in, here’s to drawing more comics in 2025.
