Busy drawings
Breakfast guest and tea afterward
I have always loved drawing pictures of rooms and surfaces full of *stuff,* I find the process very soothing (whereas my actual house full of stuff drives me nuts) and the final effect reminds me of, like, my grandparents’ home when I was small, namely a comfort. It’s a challenge too, can you cram your drawing full of items and still make it coherent. You don’t want a Where’s Waldo effect where the main subject of your drawing is obscured by all the stuff. Not saying these are successful, but they were fun to work on which for these posts is entirely the point.
Years ago in art school one of my teachers looked at my illustration of a very cluttered bedroom and said something like “I hate drawings full of lots of little things.” So anyway, these drawings are dedicated to him.
Wishing everyone a peaceful weekend. Until next time!

I love all your illustrations! Thank you for sharing them! They always brighten my day!
Art teachers can really be a pain.
Glad you didn't take it to heart, your "lots of little things" are Beautiful!
