Journal comics for a fictional cat

I used to regularly post journal-ish comics in the olden Tumblr days (shout out to folks still following along since then!), but I haven’t felt the call for quite some time. I do dip into them occasionally, and when I first started this newsletter I thought it would be mostly journal-ish comics, but I found myself abandoning that direction quickly. Sure my life is mostly quiet and mundane, but that was never an impediment for a quality journal comic! I guess I’m not as motivated to reveal, reflect, or probe in that manner lately, at least not publicly. (And other artists do it so well, I enjoy reading other people’s journal comics very much!)

All by way of saying, I might not be journaling about my own life, but that doesn’t preclude journaling about the daily life of a fictional cat. I wanted Parfait to stop by Deedee’s house to say hello, but I’m still figuring out how to draw her so will save that for another time.
